The Latok Alpine is a waterproof and breathable waterproof jacket in midweight eVent® 3 layer fabric.

For this winter the Latok Alpine has had a face-lift - the jacket has been restyled and now includes a new 2-way water resistant front zip with internal storm flap. The excellent helmet compatible hood with wired peak and roll down tab remains, as do the 2 A-line chest pockets and 2 inner mesh pockets.

  This is my "go to" shell for all purpose alpinism. It's small enough to pack well, but burly enough for mixed climbs (it's hard to shred this thing). The breathability is surprisingly good for something without pit zips. The hood is fabulous, and fits well over my helmet while still letting me turn my head as far as I need to.

  A vesatile, classic jacket. This has been the best uninsulated shell on the market for several years. I love mine. The eVent fabric is never clammy. The hood is cut perfectly and has a nice wire brim. It's great for summer rain or over an insulated jacket. It's great on the mountain or even wearing to the office on a rainy day. I get compliments at the office. Seriously. Mine is black and the solar gain is nice when the sun peaks out.
