The Xenon Jacket is a super lightweight synthetic insulated jacket with a very light outer fabric.

The Xenon Synthetic insulated jacket is the culmination of several years hard work with fabric and synthetic insulation suppliers. We have taken Primaloft® synthetic fill and wrapped it up in the lightest Pertex QuantumGL® 10 Denier fabric that is currently available.

You get a full length garment with a full length YKK zip, 2 hand warmer pockets and a chest pocket and all for just 345g/12oz!!! The whole jacket packs into its own chest pocket and is ideal as a superlight belay or over layer jacket, to be carried in a pack or clipped to a harness.

Ideal for Alpine Climbing, Mountain Marathon, Mountain Walking, Trek and travel and any fast and light activities. What more could you want?

  I love this jacket. I use it when hiking in slightly colder conditions where I know I'm going to be sweating a lot as this jacket being Primaloft retains it's temperature perfectly even when wet. The fit is great as the other reviewer mentioned and I can agree that a bit longer length would have been nice, but it really is an amazing jacket and I would highly recommend it to all.

  When i first considered purchasing the Xenon jacket, I was immediately turned off by the price point, which at my local EMS was roughly $250. I considered the Patagonia DAS Parka, but the fill 180 fill on it seemed a bit much for my liking. However after trying both on, the Xenon was exactly to my liking. The DAS' hood fits very poorly, and i thought i would be susceptible to wind entry around the neck and chin area. The Xenon hood is very snug and taught on the head, which makes it highly functional. The fit is perfect; i wanted a slim fit to keep in my warmth, and it is indeed achieves this well. I pounced on this jacket after it going on sale which brought it down to about $160 and i can honestly say it is one of the best purchases i have ever made. my one complaint is that the jacket could be a bit longer to protect the upper leg area but overall this is the closest to perfect i have seen in any outdoor product i've owned.
