The Generator vest is a synthetic filled insulated vest.

The Generator vest is an ideal layering piece for very cold conditions. This synthetic insulated vest provides warmth and comfort to the body core - where it's needed most. The Pertex Quantum outer fabric is wind and water resistant whilst remaining packable and durable. The Primaloft fill is water resistant and provides exceptional warmth to weight - even when wet.

The Generator Vest is ideal for rest stops and is light enough to be packed into its own chest pocket and then carried either in your pack or clipped to a harness.

  As the owner of an African Safari Company (www.infinitesafariadventures.com) and avid kayaker I am not necessarily in need of gear for extreme cold but am in need of something to keep my core warm on cold mornings and on Kili climbs. I just got your Rab Generator Vest. I buy gear from several companies and don’t write a lot of fan mail, but this one I had to. Lightweight, compacts down, wind resistant, great details on the collar, the back length and pocket layout are all great features and stylish too. Just a great product. Thanks!
