The Summit Batura jacket sits just below our Expedition Down jacket in terms of warmth. Hiding within the box-wall construction is 325g/11oz (size large) of 850 fill power European goose down and 30 years of down filling know-how. This is then all wrapped up in a waterproof and fully taped Pertex Shield® outer shell. The Batura has been extensively tested in the most extreme of conditions and is a regular partner to Rab athletes when they head for polar regions or high altitudes in the harshest of conditions.

  This is a great down jacket, I've worn this and have been comfortably warm in a range of conditions, from the Himalayas to the British winter to the mountains of Colorado. It packs down pretty small for such a high fill down jacket, so taking it in a backpack is not a problem. The fact that it is waterproof is fantastic. Its a little more expensive than some other down jackets but its worth every penny. I've had mine for about 5 years now and its as good as new, as the build quality is awesome. If you want to stay warm in extreme conditions, this is the jacket to get.
