Ultra lightweight and packable, narrow baffled down jacket.

Low bulk means it works great as a mid or outer layer and Microlight fabric is lightweight, packable and windproof. Narrow baffle structure stabilises the 125g/4oz (size large) of 750 fill European goose down to offer fantastic levels of warmth for the weight.

Ideal for fast and light activities, from Alpine climbing to mountain marathon use but also great for lightweight backpacking and for regular casual use.

  stops at belt buckle at front, drops at bit lower in back, good for late day push to the top. I'm 5'11", 39" chest and 34" sleeve, I tried the med and large. both felt similar in arm and torso length but the large had too much material around the waist. I went with the med, I can comfortably layer w/ a med to light base. Thicker base layers start to constrict chest/arm movement a bit. Collar is 1/2"-1" too wide, but not bad looking and allows room for collared base layers. nnI got the beluga, great dark gray color, the inside collar is the same beluga color not the interior yellowish, which was a nice surprise.nnThe rab logo is screen printed, cheap looking for a $200 jacket. A patch or sewed in logo would be an improvement in the style catagory.nnwarm, insanely light, good construction thus far. n

  Warm and light. Overall, the microlight is a great jacket. I have had no issues with its build quality.nnI feel the jacket would benefit from a tighter neck and more secure pocket closure.
