Here at Rab® we are proud of our manufacturing heritage, moving production to the Far East was a big decision for us but was necessary for us to continue to produce quality equipment in good quantities at reasonable prices. Far-East Production also ensures a reliable and continuous supply chain that we simply can't currently match in the UK.

Even though we have moved the manufacturing base we still employ many of the staff from the 'good-old' days of Sheffield (UK) manufacturing. In fact if you have a Sheffield made jacket that is less than 20 years old then its very likely that when you contact us for a repair that the person you speak to may have personally cut, filled or finished your jacket themselves.

We are pleased to be able to offer a cost-effective repair service to ensure you get the most from your jacket - we don't want to be part of a 'throw-away' culture and we'd much rather see your 20 year old jacket do another 20 years than see it go to landfill and you have to purchase another jacket.

If you do damage your jacket then the best thing to do is to take a few minutes and read this, then please fill in the Repair Form (right) and return along with your garment.
