Primaloft Synthetic fill clothing

The Rab® synthetic fill jackets e.g. the Generator and Photon ranges have a Primaloft® filling providing lightweight insulation.

Cleaning

Primaloft® products are best washed at 30°C using a pure soap, avoiding the use of detergents which can damage the silicon coating used on Primaloft® to avoid water absorption.

The garments can then be tumble dried on a cool setting. In the case of the Photon Belay Jacket and Generator Alpine the garment has a water resistant outer shell with a DWR coating to bead water on the outer face of the fabric. Regular washing will maintain optimum performance from these jackets.
