All our items are guaranteed for the life of the product against failure in materials and/or workmanship to the original purchaser with proof of receipt. Materials are zips/studs/fabrics etc and workmanship covers seams and construction. Damage caused by fair wear and tear, neglect or misuse is not covered by any guarantee.
So, if your product is under a year old and has a fault that is not through your own over-use, mis-use or neglect then please return it back to the retailer along with a proof of purchase, (receipt/bank statement) where the retailer would then take the appropriate course of action. If the retailer then returns the item to us we will repair it free of charge or replace at our discretion.The guarantee does not include any claims for consequential losses nor does it affect your statutory rights.
Failure of the garment in either materials and/or workmanship due to fair wear and tear, neglect or misuse can be repaired for a fee, at our discretion. All enquiries regarding items under guarantee should be made with the retailer.
If the item is over a year old then we would still recommend you return the item back to the retailer, who will decide whether the item is a warranty claim and they will act on your behalf as above.
However, where this is not possible you can also return the garment back to us direct where, if confirmed as faulty, it will either be repaired free of charge or replaced at our discretion. This applies to the original owner of the garment only. You must include a completed repair form that states the reason for return, your return address details, a contact number, and the reason you couldn't return the item to the retailer. If the product is deemed to be faulty but cannot be repaired, or the cost of repairs exceed the value of the product we may, at our discretion, choose to replace the product instead. Due to current trends and colours some items may not be available and then the nearest alternative may be offered.
Customers are responsible for shipping items to Rab and we will cover the return shipping costs of all items deemed to be faulty. Please ensure that you use a carrier that can provide you with tracking information and proof of delivery. All returned products are the responsibiity of the shipper until we sign for its delivery.
Rips/tears/burns/punctures/stains and pilling caused by yourself and/or a third party are not covered by any guarantee. If you have damaged your product and would like us to repair it then please return it to us in a washed and clean condition with a completed repair form stating the problem and your contact details. It is also best to mark the affected area with tape or with an elastic band. We are able to make chargeable repairs to most of our products.
Please note that due to Health and Safety Regulations were are not obliged to undertake any repairs to items returned to us in a soiled/smelly condition. We reserve the right to return such items without action, or to wash them first and add this cost to the overall cost of your repairs.

Our repair service is in the UK and therefore you may prefer to use a repair shop local to you. Contact our office in the USA and we can give you details of your nearest repairer.
