Jean-Pierre Ouillet (aka PeeWee)

US sponsored athlete

On my very first time on the rock, I knew I was hooked. I knew my life would focus around the rock. For the past 17 years, there hasn’t been a day in my life without the word climbing coming out of my mouth.

Although, I’ve touched and enjoyed every aspects of climbing (Rock, Ice, Alpine), I consider myself a rock climber. There’s this feeling with the rock I can’t find in any other type of climbing. In the last decade, I’ve been wandering in between all types of rock climbing… I’ve always tried to be an all-around climber; whether Alpine Rock Climbing in the Bugaboos, Big wall Climbing on El Cap, Sport Climbing in Rumney, Bouldering in Hueco or Trad Cragging in Indian Creek.

Lately, I’ve been focusing on free climbing but more precisely on crack climbing. I’ve been cruising around North America in a quest for “The Perfect Crack”. I’m not sure it exists, but I’m certainly having a lot of fun in the process.
